Announcing the Five Capitals Initiative
Last week I mentioned that 3DM has been quietly training marketplace leaders in our discipleship tools for a few years now. As we’ve engaged with these leaders, we’ve found that they are asking questions like
- Is this all there is to life? Is there a way to live the “life to the full” that Jesus promises in the workplace?
- How do I live “one life”? I feel like my life is so compartmentalized (I’m one person at work, another at home, another on the road, etc). Is it possible to live an integrated life when I have a “regular job”?
- How do I make more of a difference at work? How can my workplace become a place of Kingdom breakthrough?
In all of these areas, we’ve seen remarkable transformation in the leaders we have been working with, and have developed a new initiative to bring this breakthrough to even more marketplace leaders. It’s all part of the overall goal we have at 3DM of putting discipleship and mission back into the hands of ordinary people.
So today we are going public with this new initiative! We are calling it Five Capitals, and it is designed to empower and equip Christian marketplace leaders to live an integrated life of discipleship and mission in their personal and professional lives. Five Capitals will be offering content, coaching, consulting, and learning communities.
We are incredibly happy to announce that Brandon and T.J. Schaefer, who have been part of the 3DM team for some time already, are the Directors of this Five Capitals initiative. You can find out more about Brandon and T.J. on the Five Capitals website.
To kick this off we are launching two Five Capitals Learning Communities this fall exclusively and specifically for marketplace leaders, immersing them into a two-year process of putting biblical concepts and principles into practice, seeking holistic transformation in one’s life, family, friendships and business.
- August 29-31 in Cincinnati (download a flyer for this event / register for this event)
- October 10-12 in Atlanta (register for this event)
Participants may attend individually or as a team. If you have questions or need more information, check out the Five Capitals website or contact Brandon directly.
We are very excited about the potential of Five Capitals and hope to see many of you in Cincinnati or Atlanta this fall!
