From the charge to announce the resurrection, women have played a significant role in building the Church. As leaders, planters, missionaries, mothers, businesswomen — even martyrs. Women make a huge contribution to the modern missional movement — and we believe women are key to its growth and sustainability over time.As the movement Mike and I are leading grows wider and more global — it is my passion and desire that women attached to this movement know that we value allwomen. We value homeschooling stay-at-home mums all the way through to those who are in full-time ordained positions of leadership and everything else in between.In many ways women will are the army of this movement with their natural ability to connect, build Oikos and disciple others whatever their own personal circumstances are and wherever they find themselves planted.

I want to give you all opportunities to connect with the central 3DM team either through coaching, webinars workshops , pinterest, blogs and specific workshop weekends designed just with you in mind. On this page you can find out what’s going on where and when.

I also want to hear the stories and testimonies of how God is working through you in your families and communities. I am very excited that the role social media can add to this dynamic. In every missional context, you will find strong, pioneering, extraordinary women on the front lines — yet often women are left on back-burner when it comes to training. We encourage both individual women and mix-gendered teams to participate in our workshops and learning communities — but we also schedule events throughout the year that are engineered around engaging with and equipping women specifically.

Webinars
Webinars are one of the many ways we are able to offer a wider audience access to 3DM’s tools and training. Webinars allow leaders around the world to connect with our team of experts in discipleship and mission. On topics ranging from marriage and missional communities — to church planting and children’s work, each one-hour webinar gives attendees an opportunity to learn from a subject matter expert, ask burning questions.

Several times a year we do a call for topics, where the general public is invited to request subjects they would like to hear us discuss. While the topics below are by no means solely interesting to women, these are some that women in the movement have requested:

Of our core content (CK, BDC, LMC, MML) is read and used by women all over the world. Covenant + Kingdom is particularly poignant for women — as it deals with the central topic of identity — which seems to be an area most of us struggle with! Covenant + Kingdom is a particularly great book to read with a bible study, book club or MOPS group.

Pinterest!

While Pinterest is for everyone — the majority of users and certainly the most active pinners are women. We get so many practical calls for ideas — to feed an MC, for causes to get involved with, for books to read — that we’ve started using pinterest to organize some of the things that interest and inspire us! Check it out!

There are several ways that women in the movement can engage with 3DM Coaching. We have mix-gender coaching huddles as well as groups that are led by female coaches for women only. It really depends on the preference of the person wanting to be coached. Women currently participating in Coaching range from lay leaders and church staff — to individual disciples wanting to grow in their personal walk with God.

through 3DM coaching, you will:

  • Discover how to unpack the 3DM discipling toolkit.
  • Learn to disciple the way Jesus did.
  • Focus on personal and ministerial growth.
