Product Description
Building a discipling culture extends from the youngest to the oldest in our communities. In this adventure-themed series, kids (K-5th grade) will learn how to pay attention to those kairos moments, when God gets their attention and invites them to join His epic quest. In Kairos Quest, kids will use the Life Shape of the Learning Circle to discover how to hear from God and act on what He tells them.
Each week will consist of:
◊ A large group lesson
◊ A Huddle lesson (breakout of 4-6 kids)
◊ Often a game to reinforce the lesson for the week
◊ Take-home for kids to do with their parents
The 9-month curriculum will also include training days that you can use with parents. We believe that parents need to be the primary disciplers of their kids — and we want to help and equip them in that endeavor! So included in the curriculum are three sample training Saturdays that will give detailed instructions on how you can equip parents to disciple their kids (through teaching, Huddles, role-play, Q + A, etc). Based around a 9am-1pm time frame, it is both detail-oriented and massively helpful.
Everything is designed to be an integrated whole so that parents re-embrace the journey of discipling their own kids while their experience in the large gathered church community is supplementary to this journey. Furthermore, having a shared discipling language that both the kids and parents use really is dynamite.
Everything is 100% downloadable and printable. You won’t need to wait for anything in the mail.
