Well everyone, Elizabeth and I wanted to give you the official update about where we are headed this fall.

Beginning August 1, I will be serving as the Pastor of Mobilization at Summit Church in Ft Myers/Naples, Florida.

It is a fantastic church with an incredible team and culture. They are one of the healthiest I’ve seen, are dedicated to the Gospel of Jesus and its’ implications for our life, and have already experienced tremendous fruit in using language to create culture. They are 10 years old, have already help plant 10 churches and give a substantial portion of their budget each year to other churches, church plants and various kingdom endeavors.

In other words…multiplication is in their DNA.As the Pastor of Mobilization, I will be working with the Elders and other members of the Senior Staff to create a discipling language, multipliable vehicles for discipleship and mission, and spearheading their leadership pipeline. I will also serve as one of the teaching pastors and have the opportunity to work with church planters and other communities they are networked with.

We really do feel overwhelmed and thankful to God for bringing us and them together…it has God’s providence written all over it.

As a family, we just wanted to write publicly and say thank you SO MUCH for all your prayers and for regularly checking in. We’ve enjoyed our time in Richmond, connecting with friends and family in this time of waiting, but we are excited to be officially stepping into this next season.
