Our general experience is that people are quite intrigued by Missional Communities, the success we've seen with them and the culture of discipleship the churches we've worked with have been able to create. Because of this, most people want to explore a little further before joining either a Coaching track or a Learning Community. We would not expect you to invest in this kind of journey without a “test drive,” so we invite you to sign up for one of our free, two-day Taster Retreats. You cover your travel and lodging and we take care of the rest. This will give you an opportunity to hear more about Missional Communities, why having a discipling culture is crucial to their success and provide a chance for you to ask plenty of questions.

Who will lead the 3D Taster?
The 3DM team will share the teaching and are all experienced practitioners in discipling, planting, leading, and multiplying missional communities. Though our resources and models were initially explored in a European situation, the 3DM team have adapted the tools and methodologies for maximum effectiveness in the North American context.
Who is the Retreat for?
The retreat is for senior pastors and one or two key member of their team. The size of your church, denominational affiliation or network doesn’t matter.
What will it cost?
You are expected to cover the cost of your travel and accomodation, though we negotiate deals with local hotels. The Taster Retreat, itself, is free; we provide all your food, materials and refreshments during your time with us.
What is the purpose? What should I expect?
A 3D Taster is designed to give leaders "a taste" of the range of resources and tools 3DM use in equipping/empowering/resourcing leaders to disciple others and launch Missional Communities. Each day is packed with quality input and the processing is led by experienced practitioners, Huddle and extended Q and A are an integral part of the two dayprocess. 3D Taster Retreats function as extended family, so there will be lots of time to eat, laugh, process and get to know each other.
How are you expecting me to respond?
Some church leaders decide that they want to join one of our 3D Communities; some select the 3D Coaching opportunity; others simply purchase resources and take the tools and inputs back home with them. Everyone has a great time!
