Meet 3DM’s Family on Mission - Mum
2014/03/20
Our focus this year is equipping people to live as Families on Mission. 3DM functions as a “family business,” with a spiritual family at the core (what we call oikos). Since our family has been growing lately, we wanted to take Thursdays on the blog for a few weeks to introduce our entire Family on Mission to you.
Last week we introduced the Tebbes. This week, meet the Joan Gooley, who everybody calls “Mum.”
Joan Gooley (“Mum”)
Job at 3DM: various little tasks and Mum to the whole team.
Where born/raised: Liverpool, England (Everton fan, not Liverpool FC)
Favorite things: Reading, music, theatre, the warm sun, being with family.
Interesting fact about you: When I was 14 years old I saw the Beatles perform in Blackpool.
How Susan Sisson describes Joan: Servant hearted, adopted Grandma to many of our kids, makes a wonderful cup of English tea, a blessing to many of us both in and out of the office.
